Blackwater Creek Trail - Depot Grille Lot Entrance
One of the entrances to the trail that we use. A paved, flat trail along the James River, perfect for long runs and recovery jogs.
Austin Mill Rd
Paved, straight road with gentle rolling hills 4.4 miles out-and-back. Additional miles available going down Buffalo Mill Rd. Park at the church. Stay on Austin Mill and Buffalo Mill Rd. Avoid main roads nearby.
Piney River
A 7 mile flat gravel trail great for long runs and easy runs, but a bit of a drive from campus.
Poplar Forest
A historical park that has several trails running through it.
Elkton Farm Road
A lightly traveled road that is half pavement and half gravel. About 3.5 miles out.
Bellevue Rd
A hilly gravel road about 6 miles long. We often do long runs here.
Hurricane Dr
A 4 mile long gravel road with several other long gravel roads nearby. Great for long runs

A Long hilly gravel road
New London Tech Trails
A large group of trails with roling hills. About 6 miles total distance along with a disc golf course.
